Mercedes-Benz USA announced a new plug-in hybrid variant of its popular GLC SUV model series, the 2025 GLC 350e 4MATIC SUV. The extensive standard offerings of the GLC 300 4MATIC SUV will carry over to the plug-in hybrid, while adding more new standard features to further enhance the electric experience.

Mazda’s new three-row SUV, the premium-buyer-focused CX-90, will land in Australia without a plug-in hybrid option, with the brand instead opting for a pair of six-cylinder engines – one petrol and one diesel – instead of the Mazda CX-90 PHEV, at launch. The CX-90 will launch in the second half of 2023.

A luxurious new electric seven-seat SUV to sit above the soon-to-be-EV Cayenne SUV has been confirmed by Porsche as part of its increasingly electrified future model mix. Codenamed K1, the new EV will be based on the SSP Sport architecture being developed by Porsche for the Volkswagen Group and arrive as soon as 2027.
