The bill, HB 1204 / SB 5256 , requires all model year 2030 or later passenger and light-duty vehicles sold in Washington State to be electric. Electric vehicles are defined as “vehicles that use energy stored in rechargeable battery packs or in hydrogen that rely solely on electric motors for propulsion.”.

A series hydraulic hybrid yard hostler, developed by FEV, the US Environmental Protection Agency, Parker Hannifin and other, will be put into full service at the Port Authority of New York - New Jersey terminal at the conclusion of its development testing. It is also well suited for use in light-duty trucks and SUVs.

It’s a tiny light atom that easily escapes confinement. Liquified hydrogen may be as light as petrol or kerosene, but keeping it at -257C requires much heavier apparatus.
