Horwin’s flashy flagship electric motorbike, the SENMENTI 0 production model, has just made its US debut at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada. In fact, the company claims that it could offer a mixed highway/city range of up to 186 miles (300 km). The company also showed off two concept vehicles.

Segway has taken to the Consumer Electronics Expo (CES) in Las Vegas to unveil a pair of new electric two-wheelers. For power, a rear 750W motor offers up to 80 Nm of torque, providing good climbing power and quick acceleration. The motor is much torquier on the Xyber than the Xafari, providing up to 175 Nm of torque.

Toyota and the tire maker Sumitomo debuted weight-saving airless tires combined with in-wheel motors in a 2017 concept, noting then that it needed to make progress in cutting rolling resistance, which was still higher than inflated designs at the time. Michelin tweel Building on Tweel Uptis isn’t Michelin’s first or only airless technology.

Three of Hyundai Motor Company’s next-generation NEXO fuel-cell-electric vehicles ( earlier post ) have completed a self-driven 118-mile (190 km) journey from Seoul to Pyeongchang. NEXO has a target range of 500 miles (NEDC) on a single charge of hydrogen and takes only five minutes to refuel. Level 4 commercialization.

Nissan revealed the Nissan LEAF electric vehicles in a global launch event in Yokohama, followed by its North American debut at a media event in Las Vegas. The new e-powertrain gives the new Nissan LEAF 110 kW of power output (up 38% from the previous generation) and 320 N·m of torque (up 26%) from the EM57 motor.
