Europe’s largest PEM hydrogen electrolyzer, has begun operations at Shell’s Energy and Chemicals Park Rheinland, producing green hydrogen. A plant for liquefied renewable natural gas (bio-LNG) is also in development. Shell wants to become a leading supplier of green hydrogen for industrial and transport customers in Germany.

HYON AS has, together with partners, been awarded grants under Norway’s PILOT-E scheme for the development and realization of two maritime projects; a high-speed ferry and a short-sea freighter.
