The electricity for recharging has to come from somewhere, which means power plants. Toyota still has not made any money on the Prius. Another point; a Jetta diesel has near the same mileage as a Prius and the Jetta Blue TDI will exceed the Prius. I’m sick of hearing about the Prius….I market b y the end of 2009.
