In London, the Mayor’s EV infrastructure taskforce estimates that 70% of the demand for slow and normal chargers in residential areas will come from Uber drivers alone. In Paris, the fleet of ride-hailing drivers tripled in the past four year, from around 10,000 in 2016 to about 30,000 today.

Emitting zero emissions, the FUSO eCanter is now delivering the company’s bottled butane and propane to customers in central London. 16 FUSO eCanter from Daimler Trucks’ small series-production in Tramagal, Portugal, have been delivered to customers in the United Kingdom so far.

One of the highlights of yesterday’s Green Car Day at City Hall in Central London was the appearance of the Nissan X-Trail Fuel Cell Vehicle. The car is part of Nissan’s fleet participating in the California Fuel Cell Partnership trials in the USA and has featured in a wide variety of low carbon events throughout Europe.

In London Daimler handed over the FUSO eCanter vehicles to the courier service DPD; the logistics company Wincanton; and the baked goods manufacturer Hovis. DPD, Wincanton and Hovis are initially starting with a total of nine FUSO eCanter vehicles in their fleets. The company plans to use five FUSO eCanter trucks in its fleet.
