Tesla Energy is working to launch a virtual power plant (VPP) in Puerto Rico, Senior Vice President of Energy Engineering and Powertrain Drew Baglino said. It helped utilize solar energy instead of other sources that may be polluting. Tesla has been operating its VPP program since 2021, when it launched in California.

Doosan Engine, a licensee of MAN Diesel & Turbo technology, has confirmed delivery of the world’s first dual-fuel, low-speed ME-GI (main engine, gas injection) engine to the American National Steel and Shipbuilding Company (NASSCO) shipyard in San Diego. The ME-GI engine represents the culmination of many years’ work.
