Building materials retailer Grange Builders Providers, of Baldoyle, Dublin, has purchased a Smith Newton truck for deliveries of building and DIY products. Designed for city and town center use, the Smith Newton is powered by an 80 kWh Li-ion battery pack and a 120 kW electric motor.

If I were a better engineer, or designer I could have planned for a standard length of these connectors. I have now had 4 test drives to a distance of 15 miles round trip and speed up to 60 mph without mishap or any sign of trouble. After I had the parts of the pack assembled I could begin wiring the Batteries.
