The Kia Niro Hybrid and Plug-in Hybrid are being recalled for an issue that could cause fires in the engine compartment. Niro Hybrid from 2017 through 2022 and PHEV models from 2018 through 2022 are involved. Dealers will inspect the hydraulic clutch actuator and replace it, along with the fuse, if the defect is present.

Kia is recalling certain EV6 and Niro EVs The recall impacts the 2023 Kia EV6 and 2023-2024 Niro EV models. Kia says 1,243 vehicles are potentially affected. The replacement will be free of charge.
