California Energy Commission awards more than $2.5M for clean transportation projects

In this pilot project, enough compressed natural gas will be generated to displace 750 to 1,000 gallons of diesel fuel, and to power heavy-duty garbage collection trucks and an on-site generator producing renewable electricity for the facility.
