Anheuser-Busch transitioning 30% of dedicated fleet to renewable natural gas

In 2014 and 2015, Anheuser-Busch converted 160 diesel-fueled trucks in Houston and St. Louis to fleets powered by Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) engines. Anheuser-Busch is transitioning more than 180 trucks—representing approximately 30% of its dedicated fleet—to Renewable Natural Gas (RNG).

WUSTL researchers demonstrate solar-panel-powered microbial electrosynthesis to produce n-butanol from light, CO2 and power

Researchers at Washington University in St. Louis have discovered a new way to train microbes to make n -butanol. The resulting biofuel, n -butanol, is a carbon-neutral fuel alternative that can be used in blends with diesel or gasoline. UPS enters into RNG supply agreements with Kinetrex and TruStar; up to 80M gallon equivalents

USDOT awarding $55M to support purchase of Low-No buses; electric buses and infrastructure
