Available as a module, Jetson TX1 is also built into a Developer Kit, which enables hobbyists and professionals to develop and test highly advanced autonomous devices. Support for CUDA 7.0.

SDG&E is a regulated public utility that services San Diego and southern Orange counties. SDG&E tested the performance of two 2007-model Prius hybrids and then converted them into plug-in hybrids, using a Hymotion 5 kWh lithium-ion battery conversion kit. Tags: Conversions Hybrids Plug-ins.

It tested the performance of two 2007 model Prius hybrids and then converted them into plug-in hybrids using a Hymotion 5kWh lithium-ion battery conversion kit. In its most recent study the prototype battery was replaced with a production model battery and the same pool of drivers was used during vehicle evaluation.

Conversions are mostly for the Prius, with a few for the Ford Escape/Mercury Mariner hybrid SUVs. At that point, we expect the aftermarket companies prices to have come down sufficiently so that their conversions will be attractive to owners of hundreds of thousands of hybrids already on the road. So far, most start as hybrids.
