A lot of parking lots have been converted to LED lights, and during that conversion, the electricity draw on that circuit was decreased, because the LEDs use less current, so you have a little excess capacity in that circuit, and if you tie into that, now you can cover things like cloudy days or rainy days much better.

Greenville County, South Carolina and Light’N’Up, deployed 15 propane Autogas vehicles last month as part of a large-scale, Recovery Act-funded alternative fuel vehicle project in the Southeast United States. Greenville County and Light’N’Up are two of nine conversion centers participating in the project.

Skygo Fuel Systems ’ latest dual fuel (natural gas/diesel) conversion system has been approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This system is installed on to the engine in less than 12 hours. The fuel tanks and connections are installed separately from the engine.

Fleets in the following states are welcome to submit proposals: Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Tennessee, Mississippi and Washington DC.

In 2010, BMW completed the installation of a hydrogen storage and distribution area near the plant’s Energy Center to power about 100 pieces of fuel cell material handling equipment. The project has now successfully moved to the second phase of methane-to-hydrogen conversion. million square foot production facility in Spartanburg, SC.
