thyssenkrupp has signed a contract with Illinois-based CF Industries to supply a 20 megawatt alkaline water electrolysis plant to produce green hydrogen at their Donaldsonville, Louisiana, manufacturing complex. The project will utilize a 20 MW alkaline water electrolyzer developed by thyssenkrupp.

With the first observation of thermoelectric effects at graphene contacts, University of Illinois researchers found that graphene transistors have a nanoscale cooling effect that reduces their temperature. The measurements revealed surprising temperature phenomena at the points where the graphene transistor touches the metal connections.
