The first fully electric commuter plane Alice from Eviation Aircraft ( earlier post ) successfully completed its maiden flight at Moses Lake, Washington. Cape Air and Global Crossing Airlines, both US-based regional airlines, have placed orders for 75 and 50 Alice aircraft respectively. Alice lifted off on 27 Sep at 7:10 a.m.

Volvo Cars is fundamentally rethinking its approach to infotainment in the forthcoming fully electric Volvo XC40. The electric XC40 is also the first Volvo that will receive software and operating system updates over the air. The fully electric XC40 will be first shown to the public on 16 October.
