At its Annual Account Press Conference 2015, the BMW Group announced that, for the first time in the history of the Group, 51% of its electricity worldwide is being supplied from renewable sources. Examples of the use of renewable power include: In Leipzig, Germany, the BMW Group is using wind power.

At its first digital ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) Conference for investors and analysts, Mercedes-Benz announced aims to at least halve CO 2 emissions per passenger car over the lifecycle by the end of this decade compared to 2020 levels. The EQS and EQE will even feature cable ducting made with recycled landfill waste.

Although not part of the conferences formal structure, the themes were addressed in the presentations and panel discussions.

The challenges for their engineering and assembly are equally gargantuan.

No, if you look at the picture it actually has 6 wheels but drives on 2 to waste energy. Thats double the milage of a Prius and a lot more fun! Video Web 2.0
