While familiar with the concept, I was not ready to traverse the graphs and tables required to determine how much you’re on the hook for depending upon what type of vehicle you’ve chosen. One would expect to receive some kind of purchasing allowance calculated that’s then tied to income. Normal to my American eyes thus far.

The extra horsepower on the R/T and Scat Pack models come from stage kits that will be standard at launch but will later need to be purchased separately. Oh, and of course, the Daytona gets a fake-exhaust system that will make it sound like an old-school V8 muscle car. We've seen this car in concept form for quite some time.

Although the EPA has not as of this writing released the final fuel economy numbers for the US A3 e-tron, Filip Brabec, Director, Product Management, Audi of America, said that the figures will be around 83 to 86 MPGe combined (depending on the equipment level), with 35 to 39 mpg gasoline only and 16-17 miles of EV range.

First, the industry is approaching the ethanol-to-gasoline blend wall of 10% ethanol, 90% gasoline in standard gas engines. Second, a Congressional Budget Office study issued in April said even with subsidies ethanol is only profitable when a gallon of gasoline costs 70% or more than a bushel of corn, i.e, Animal operations.
