CO 2 emissions from private jets in Europe increased by nearly a third (31%) between 2005 and 2019, rising faster than commercial aviation emissions, according to a new report from environmental campaign group Transport & Environment (T&E). And yet, super-rich super polluters are flying around like there’s no climate crisis.

From 1 July 2015, the carbon price will be set by the market. During the flexible price period, an overall cap will be placed on Australia’s annual greenhouse gas emissions from all sources of pollution covered by the carbon price. Economists and experts agree that the best way is to make polluters pay by putting a price on carbon.
