This new proprietary combustion engine combines the advantages of gasoline and diesel engines to optimize environmental performance, power and acceleration performance.

The rule establishes a year-by-year roadmap so that by 2035 100% of new cars and light trucks sold in California will be zero-emission vehicles (ZEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs). The regulation applies to automakers (not dealers) and covers only new vehicle sales.

With the improved temperature detection performance, the new sensor helps regenerate DPFs more efficiently, resulting in cleaner emissions, as well as increased fuel efficiency due to less fuel required in the DPF regeneration process.
