Beyond that, it was the Seres 3’s poor drive experience, unresolved technology features, its failure to accept DC charge without explanation and bunny hop-inducing regeneration that has landed it top on my Wall of Shame.

Its short overhangs, “one-bow line” profile and stretched wheelbase take some getting used to, while a strange shut line from the A-pillar – part of a sealed bonnet – and external flap to re-fill the windscreen washer reservoir don’t help. Its EQ owners simply weren’t using it very much, apparently.
