Not much yet, but most likely it will open the flood gates to additional funding for future fusion research. Once fusion is truly established and on the grid the price of electricity will plummet, then it will all be about batteries.

Gas is the only answer. So that leaves gas with the task of keeping the lights on.

I also think it will be cheap, which is why I think someone will buy the group. Sorry, but electrics and electric power plants are so efficient that CO2 emissions are less than gassers even when the electricity comes from coal - and a lot of electricity doesnt come from coal. Or maybe just snap up the engineers.
