Some previous Prius plug-in conversion kits allowed motorists to go as fast as 52 miles per hour using a “forced stealth” mode.

Additionally, we will retain inventory of accessories for as long as we can to support the need for replacement batteries, propellers, charging cables, etc. And since the Skydio 2+ is still being produced for sale for enterprise customers, it seems like those parts and accessories may be available longer than they would be otherwise.

The 2011 Nissan Leaf has now been for sale in certain U.S. markets for nine months -- just long enough for the accessories and aftermarket market to catch up and offer everything from custom wheels to body kits for Nissan’s first all-electric hatchback.

Technology upgrades include six-speaker audio (up from four), satellite-navigation, iSmart web-based services including weather forecasts and a wireless charging pad from which your phone can go flying when accelerating. A 220V-240V trickle charge will take around 38 hours.

Installation is separate (and costs can vary widely), and GM has partnered with Qmerit, a national EV charging installation company, to make it easier for customers to find an installer. The systems can be bought separately or bundled together for $7,299. Batteries will be available in 10, 17, and 35kWh packages.
