One of the baseline items my colleague highly suggested getting was a curb weight value before and after the conversion. It was a bit intimidating waiting in line with several semi-trucks, sort of like landing on the main runway of Portland International Airport with an ultralight airplane. The cost to weigh at Jubitz is $8.50.

Going to NEDRA at Portland International Raceway was my first major excursion in the 914 since both the flywheel was balanced and the clutch was properly adjusted. The car handled very well and cruised on the freeway without much problem. Here's the wait in line for the ticket office at Portland International Raceway.

Summer events have held me back from working on the 914EV, so I headed out to Portland International Raceway to get a boost of inspiration from NEDRA (National Electric Drag Racing Association) to continue the project. I hope to have my car ready for that event, not necessarily to race it, but just to share the technology.
