Go-Ahead London is going for a further 141 battery-electric buses, taking the total number of electric buses to be delivered to the operator during 2023 to 299 vehicles. The buses will be provided by Alexander Dennis in collaboration with BYD UK.

BYD has been officially selected as the recommended company by the evaluation committee in Argentina for the purchase of 50 electric buses on behalf of the Ministry of Environment. BYD begun the promotion of its technologies in Argentina in 2011 through its local subsidiary, especially those related to electric vehicles and public transport.

Fetranspor and Rio Bus, the public transportation companies for the state and city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and BYD launched a BYD battery-electric bus into service this week. Rio is one of the three cities in Brazil to test the BYD electric buses from BYD (São Paulo and Salvador have done successful tests already).
