People might be bored reading about the Prius but a review on four Priuses (2004, 2005, two 2006s) that my family owns that ran a total of 913k km (570k miles) should be interesting, right? We need to go back to November 2017, to the start of the ‘Prius Revolution’ in the family. It was time to buy our first car.

But rather, depending on the PHEV‘s driver habits and the PHEV itself, they can actually be really good in helping reduce tailpipe emissions or slightly worse than say a regular Prius hybrid. This of course is not a good thing as this practice wastes the benefit of the battery in the PHEV and simply adds weight and complexity.

Initially it’s a lot like driving a Toyota Prius hybrid… until the straightaway, where Dean persuades me to floor it. You can’t buy this, or any production all-electric car, in the US today. The ideal car battery would have a long range, and minimal residual waste at the end of its useful life.

They were busy promoting their hybrid cars and their favorite distraction tactic - “Hydrogen Cars” While Toyota did very well with the Prius hybrid car, hedging their bets on hybrid cars in the 2020s seems to me that they seem to still live in the 90s. What a waste. Why would people buy Toyota ICE cars then?

Nonetheless, I do agree that it wastes of energy, reduces range and should NOT be mandatory. Motor Trend Magazine has extensive coverage of all cars online including road tests, free videos, buying guides, etc. a cyclist is much quieter, and these cars do have horns still for people what step out in front. because I am one.
