PNNL IntelliVent system reduces risk of explosions in outdoor battery cabinets

Researchers at the US Department of Energy’s Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) have developed a sensor system called IntelliVent that can prevent dangerous conditions from developing in outdoor battery cabinets. IntelliVent is a patent-pending, deflagration-prevention system for cabinet-style battery enclosures.
