Porsche has increased the electric range of all its Cayenne plug-in hybrid models. The gross capacity of the high-voltage battery is now 17.9 kWh, which boosts the electric range by up to 30%. The driving modes of the standard Sport Chrono Package have been optimized to further improve efficiency and performance.

On the move there’s four-stage regenerative braking that ensures the battery is topped-up.

Until recently, the four main modular toolkits (modularen Baukästen) of the Group were: the MQB (transverse, driven by the Volkswagen brand); the MLB (longitudinal, driven by the Audi brand); the MSB (standard drive, driven by Porsche); and the NSF (New Small Family). While rear-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive (AWD) an option on the base Mach-E, the GT and GT Performance are AWD all-the-time. The all-electric driving range is estimated to be 270 miles for the GT, and 260 miles for the GT Performance. Battery – Eight years/ 100,000 miles. A big tablet for control.
