The Infrastructure roll out needs our help By Jim Stack, President of Electric Auto Association of Phoenix. Along highways, chargers should be positioned 50 to 70 miles apart in order to accommodate shorter range EVs. At least one 1 J-1772 EV charger at each charge site for plug-in hybrids is advisable.

Once recharged: 90MPG; 85; 100; 100MPG with showings of 99.9MPG for 71 Miles; 97.3 for 38 and finally 68.4MPG for 54 Miles (all of which involved a long Interstate run to Pacific Beach and Ocean Beach from Home Sweet Mom's Home in La Mesa, CA. with 2,492 miles driven with MPG Averge of 55 AH 66.87 with a ready plug awaiting.

Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle All Around America (PHEV3A) tour with "EVJerry" Asher driving started last year on Earth Day, in front of the Nation’s Capitol. The plug-in hybrid vehicle the “Spirit of DC" was designed to run on electricity alone for about 10 miles before reverting back to acting like an ordinary hybrid.
