And yet, the auto industry – which is responsible for more pollution than any other sector, at least in rich countries – still lobbies to worsen emissions reduction targets, even when those targets were already pushed back to begin with.

First, some background from the New York Times : The rule increasingly limits the amount of pollution allowed from tailpipes over time so that, by 2032, more than half the new cars sold in the United States would most likely be zero-emissions vehicles in order for carmakers to meet the standards. It very much is not. Fear is effective.

Not what you think When the wrap finally comes off, though, I think there will be some surprise for anyone who had hopes of rushing out to a dealership to buy their first 100 m.p.g. Yep, a truck.

For our EV advocacy, which will benefit Indian cities and the Indian economy in the long run, we have received abuse and personal attacks. Think about that. These are the real facts.
