Today, it is a cost-neutral way for fleet owners to achieve their goals by allowing them to convert an entire diesel-powered fleet to alternative fuel overnight.

These projects put more than 9,000 alternative fuel and energy-efficient light-, medium- and heavy-duty vehicles on the road, and establish 542 refueling locations across the country. After a couple hours driving the VF 8 in San Diego County, here are our initial thoughts. Heading out from Encinitas in northern San Diego County, we wound our way from the ocean to inland cities and back to the beach.
