The Sonet, Kia India’s first compact SUV, has driven past 300,000-unit sales in the domestic market. Combined with exports of 86,780 units, the Sonet has chalked up cumulative sales of 391,091 units and is now just 8,909 units shy of the 400,000 mark. Sonet drove past the 300,000 sales milestone in February 2024.

The Mahindra XUV300 has driven past the cumulative 250,000 units sales milestone in the domestic India market. Launched on Valentine’s Day in 2019, the popular compact SUV has, till end-March 2024, sold a total of 248,263 units. This means the XUV300 has taken 63 months or a little over five years to achieve 250,000 sales in India.
