Volvo Trucks has delivered an electric truck for heavy transport to a haulier in Gothenburg, Sweden. More hauliers are now starting to invest in electric trucks, also for heavy transport. Mattsson Åkeri in Gothenburg, Sweden is one of them, and the company has now bought three heavy electric Volvo FH trucks from Volvo.

GVB, the public transport company of Amsterdam, is further expanding its electric fleet with 84 new generation VDL Citeas. These vehicles, based entirely on an electric powertrain, will be deployed from 2023 onwards.
