Qiantu's first model, the Qiantu K50, was launched in 2018 at a then subsidized price of RMB 686,800 ($99,860), but the model did not earn recognition for the company and was discontinued in November 2020. On December 18, 2021, Qiantu held a strategy sharing session at its plant in Suzhou, marking its return after a two-year hiatus.

In April, electrified vehicles accounted for 5% of global BMW Group sales, although in certain markets, that percentage is much higher. In the mature Scandinavian markets, more than a quarter of all BMW Group sales are electrified and in Malaysia, electrified vehicles accounted for more than half of BMW Group sales in April.

The 2018 Environmental Performance Index (EPI) finds that air quality is the leading environmental threat to public health. The United States places 27 th in the 2018 EPI, with strong scores on some issues, such as sanitation and air quality, but weak performance on others, including deforestation and greenhouse gas emissions.
