Chevrolet Colorado ZH2 Fuel Cell Vehicle debuts at AUSA meeting

The Chevrolet Colorado ZH2, the extreme off-road-capable fuel-cell-powered electric vehicle from General Motors, made its debut at the fall meeting of the Association of the United States Army (AUSA). Standing more than 6½ feet tall and more than seven feet wide, the Colorado ZH2 was built on a stretched midsize pickup chassis.

Chevrolet and GMC expand alternative fuel fleet offerings; expanded CNG/LPG lineup

liter V-8 compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG)-capable engines starting in the first quarter of 2017. The announcement follows the selection of PSI, based in Wood Dale, Illinois, as General Motors Fleet’s preferred upfitter for CNG and LPG trucks. All of the top 25 fleets use at least two fuels.

Lightning Systems converting 35-foot diesel buses to battery-electrics in Boulder; cost-effective electrification

Lightning Systems, a global developer of zero-emission solutions for commercial fleets, is partnering with the City of Boulder and transit provider Via Mobility Services to repower diesel buses with battery-electric systems. The city and Via staff plan to continue to transition the entire HOP fleet to zero-emission vehicles in the near-term.
