A large share of credit goes to the vehicle’s eFlite dual-motor electrically variable transmission (EVT).

Audi is introducing two new models with plug-in hybrid drive systems to the market in China in 2016, both of which are having their world premier at Auto Shanghai 2015: the Audi Q7 e-tron 2.0 TFSI quattro will be available from dealers in the three specified markets starting in 2016. BMW eDrive is the new drive system technology used in all the electrically powered vehicles from BMW i and the plug-in hybrid models from BMW. The BMW 225xe, arriving in spring 2016, pairs a 100 kW/136 hp 1.5-liter liter three-cylinder gasoline engine with 65 kW electric traction motor and a 7.7 kWh Li-ion battery pack.
