The Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan, will expand the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) ( earlier post ) London-wide. The expansion will come into effect on 29 August 2023 and will operate across all London boroughs up to the existing Low Emission Zone boundary for large and heavy vehicles. Breaking with its past support of EPA’s RFS implementation decisions, the Brazilian Sugarcane Industry Association (UNICA) is formally opposing EPA’s proposal—due to be released in about two weeks—to reduce RFS volume targets for 2014, 2015, 2016 ( earlier post ). UNICA had earlier submitted comments opposing the proposed changes.
