GM retail sales in China in 1st 8 months of 2015 up 2.3%; down 4.8% in August

The Buick, Cadillac and Baojun brands had their best June ever. from the first six months of 2015 to 1,810,476 units. Cadillac deliveries in June jumped 34% on an annual basis to 9,552 units. Demand for the brand’s best-selling SUV, the Envision, increased 27% to more than 14,000 units. on an annual basis.

GM’s truck and crossover sales pass 1M unit mark for 2014

Sales of General Motors crossovers and trucks, which include pickups, vans and SUVs, surged by double-digits in July, pushing combined sales for the year to 1,048,114 through July. Large non-luxury SUVs were up 25% in July, and they are up 15% year to date. Including the Cadillac Escalade, SUV sales are up 32%.
