At the conclusion of the International Negotiating Committee on Mercury ( INC5 ) meeting in Geneva ( earlier post ), nations agreed on a global, legally-binding treaty to prevent mercury emissions and releases. Just two people live in its 3000+ energy-wasting square feet. The current status of my case with Torrance is, the day the article came out (on April 28, 2009) I got a call from the Planning Dept. I said I would consider it, but that I was really hoping to establish a precedent, legally speaking, beyond Torrance.
