The Supervisory Board of Porsche AG has decided to manufacture the next generation of the Macan as a fully electric series. Nevertheless, over the next ten years we will focus on a drive mix consisting of even further optimized petrol engines, plug-in hybrid models, and purely electrically operated sports cars.

IOC Chairman SM Vaidya said 2000 EV charging stations will be established in the next 12 months and another 8000 in the next two years to achieve the target of 10,000 EV charging stations in the next three years. IOC is also planning a GW scale EV battery manufacturing plant, that will also be finalised soon.
