Motorcycles in California could soon be included under the state’s smog checking programme if a bill is passed. Currently there are around 575,000 motorcycles registered in California with the model year of 2000 or higher. There are fears however, that it might be affected by tampering.

It will appear in Europe next year as the Opel Ampera and in Australia as the Holden Volt in 2012. Whats more, the General promises the Volt will be the foundation for a slew of cars to be sold worldwide. Not really sure where all the money is going, but it seems like the Volt is already over-priced and under performing.
