EAA Board of Director member Jerry Asher joined the caravan and provided support with the “Spirit of DC” Plug-in Toyota Prius hybrid. Six other electric cars joined the Tesla Roadster and “Spirit of DC” Plug-in Toyota Prius as part of the exhibition. At the end of the EV Fiesta, the couple departed for the Rampart Casino for lunch.

The engine block of an internal combustion engine (ICE) generates a significant quantity of waste heat that may be used to heat the fuel, the cabin, or other components and operations of the vehicle. When the outside temperature drops, the battery will have to spend energy to warm itself. ICE heats up naturally to operate at its best.

They were busy promoting their hybrid cars and their favorite distraction tactic - “Hydrogen Cars” While Toyota did very well with the Prius hybrid car, hedging their bets on hybrid cars in the 2020s seems to me that they seem to still live in the 90s. What a waste. I feel these companies just have a sunk cost bias.

Thats double the milage of a Prius and a lot more fun! If youre a stickler for electric vehicles, there is an electric scooter that will travel up to 60 miles and can be recharged in 3 hours. No, if you look at the picture it actually has 6 wheels but drives on 2 to waste energy. You can buy it now.
