September 7th was the day I had a big meeting with my friend, Jose Bacallao, a respected leader in the Hermosa Community and the fight against oil drilling in the Santa Monica Bay. He, his wife Katrina, and his two beautiful daughters were regulars at each city council meeting where the oil drilling and election were discussed.
