In the analysis, EPA uses overall fuel economy in mpg equivalent (mpge) and tailpipe CO 2 emission values. mpg, and reduces the overall CO 2 emissions by 3 g/mi.

After 3 ½ years my mpg is well north of 200 mpg (the measurement tops out at 250 mpg, which is my goal). More Volt Stories from the Archives: Personal: Chevrolet Volt & Accell Charger. Electric-only range of the Volt has not only not diminished , but I’m regularly see 60-mile estimated ranges after a charge.

EPA released the latest edition of its annual report on trends in CO 2 emissions, fuel economy and powertrain technology for new personal vehicles in the US. mpg increase over the previous year and an increase of nearly 5 mpg since 2004. Since 1975, half of car production has consistently been within several mpg of each other.

Fuel economy is EPA-rated at 28 mpg city/36 highway/31 combined for the FWD Taos, with the 4Motion rated at 25/32/28. mpg, but in a 99-mile highway run at 65 mph, we averaged 34.3 The rear head and leg room easily and comfortably accommodate a 6-foot plus person, and can handle three child seats. Fuel economy is EPA rated at 23/29/25 mpg for the turbocharged CX-50. The EPA rates the base engine at 24 mpg city/30 highway/27 combined. Then again, with the roof having been reinforced to handle a three-person tent, it can easily handle a cargo carrier, or you can hook up a trailer for more flexibility.
