Some curious vehicles have emerged on the electric vehicle market over the years, and few have been more curious than the Triac. We first wrote about the Triac three-wheel electric vehicle back in 2010. Made by Green Vehicles of Salinas, California, it touted a 100-mile range, an 80 mph top speed, and a price tag of $25,000.

ElectraMeccanica Vehicles will begin customer deliveries of its single-occupant, three-wheeled, electric vehicle, the SOLO. The SOLO is a purpose-built, three-wheeled, all-electric solution for the urban environment. The SOLO has a range of 100 miles and a top speed of 80 mph, making it safe for highways.

The e-Zone Electric Vehicle (EV) is a Low Speed Vehicle (LSV) that passes international crash test standards and will be one of the vehicle types CT&T will produce for the US market. Electric Drive Vehicles (EDVs) require advancements in power inverter technology, such as lower cost, weight, and volume to achieve a greater share of the vehicle market.

Most Lectric riders are over 65 and may have health-related issues preventing them from riding a standard two-wheel bike. Compared to an e-bike, an electric tricycle is much more accessible and stable, with a lower step-through frame and three-wheel structure. The slower 14 mph top speed will help all the high efficiency.
