Some curious vehicles have emerged on the electric vehicle market over the years, and few have been more curious than the Triac. We first wrote about the Triac three-wheel electric vehicle back in 2010. Made by Green Vehicles of Salinas, California, it touted a 100-mile range, an 80 mph top speed, and a price tag of $25,000.

ElectraMeccanica Vehicles will begin customer deliveries of its single-occupant, three-wheeled, electric vehicle, the SOLO. The SOLO is a purpose-built, three-wheeled, all-electric solution for the urban environment. The SOLO has a range of 100 miles and a top speed of 80 mph, making it safe for highways.

This is the first time the technology will be launched with a robust, more stable three-wheeled e-scooter, which can better withstand different road conditions due to its enhanced suspension. The first S-200 fleet will be piloted in Boise, Idaho this Spring. The City will receive up to 300 S-200 e-scooters.

The FUV starts at $17,900 with a top speed of 75 mph and a 102 city mile range. Arcimoto’s vehicles are three-wheeled, with two wheels at the front and one at the rear. Arcimoto is available only on the West Coast and Florida at the moment, but the company hopes to bring it to more states soon.
