The Nikkei reports that Toyota will begin sales of its new hydrogen fuel cell vehicle (FCV), reportedly named Mirai, in Japan in December. The new hydrogen-powered Toyota is a front-wheel drive 4-door, 4-seater sedan. The two tanks store hydrogen at pressures of up to 700 bar. Fuel Cells Hydrogen Japan' Earlier post.).

The RWD layout also allowed for increased hydrogen storage to boost EPA-estimated range to 402 miles (Mirai XLE grade), a 30% increase over the first-generation Mirai.
