Proton OnSite has been awarded a purchase order from HydraFLX Systems Ltd to install a hydrogen generator at the Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam (JBPHH) facility outside Honolulu, Hawaii. The station is being upgraded in cooperation with the Hawaii Center for Advanced Transportation Technologies (HCATT) and the Air Force Research Laboratory.

In 2012, a Proton electrolyzer was installed at Fraunhofer ISE’s solar-powered refueling station in Freiburg as part of Baden-Württemberg''s Environment Ministry’s hydrogen refueling project. This is the second U.S.-made made Proton OnSite hydrogen generator to be delivered for vehicle fueling in Germany.
