introduced four new 2014 Honda Accord Plug-in Hybrids to Zipcar’s Boston fleet, as well as plug-in stations and priority parking for Zipcars and other hybrid vehicles at the Boston Common Garage. A study by researchers at the Institute of Transportation Studies, UC Davis finds that buyers of plug-in vehicles (PEVs) are substantially less satisfied with the dealer purchase experience than buyers of conventional vehicles—with the notable exception of Tesla buyers. In some cases, dealers outright discouraged PEV purchases.

Honda Motor Co., and Mitsubishi Motors Corporation have jointly established a new company, Nippon Charge Service, LLC, to promote the installation of chargers for plug-in electric vehicles (PHVs, PHEVs, EVs). Together with Government subsidies the grants will cover the entire cost of installation for successful applicants.

Hydrogen Mobility Europe ( H2ME ), a multi-country, multi-partner project to demonstrate that hydrogen can support Europe’s future transport demands, announced that it has deployed its first 100 fuel cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) in Germany, France and the UK. In addition, Daimler has deployed 40 B-Class F-CELL vehicles under H2ME in Germany.
