The Jeep has teased its upcoming compact SUV 4Xe powertrain a nomenclature for its hybrids that can be used either for a regular 4X4 compact SUV axle with electric motors or a fully electrically driven axle. Last year, the Jeep had introduced a Jeep Wrangler 4xe a plug-in hybrid technology with regenerative braking.
