has entered into a Master Services Agreement (MSA) with a subsidiary of McDermott International, Ltd to provide front end engineering and early planning services for Gevo’s development of multiple sustainable aviation fuel facilities in North America. The first facility, Net-Zero 1, is expected to be located near Lake Preston, South Dakota.

and HCS Group GmbH, a long-time customer of Gevo, have signed a project memorandum of understanding (MOU) to develop and to build a renewable hydrocarbon facility at HCS Group’s site located in Speyer, Germany, which would utilize Gevo’s low-carbon sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) technology: Alcohol-to-Jet Synthetic Paraffinic Kerosene.

The production facility planned for Lake Preston is contemplated to produce about 45,000,000 million gallons per year collectively of jet fuel and renewable gasoline products. California Air Resources Board (ARB) staff has posted five new Low Carbon Fuel Standard (LCFS) fuel pathway applications to the LCFS public comments website: two for biodiesel, one for renewable diesel, and two for ethanol. The baseline CI value for gasoline is 95.86 g CO 2 e/MJ; for diesel fuel, it is 94.71 g CO 2 e/MJ.
